Yongjian Li
Yongjian Li is a researcher at the School of Education of Renmin University of China, Beijing and at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He is a leading member of the TENSION research group at the University of Helsinki, Finland (diversity in education). Li specialises in public affairs in education management. His current research focuses on equality/equity and social justice in teacher education, critically comparing China and Finland. Li is the author of the following books: Comparing and Contrasting in Education - Social Justice in China and Finland (Forth. Routledge) and Chinese Rural Schooling: Good Practices for Successful Social Justice (Palgrave, co-edited with Dervin & Guo). He is the recipient of many honours, including the Uniqlo Global Talent Scholarship (2014).
