Reviews and Testimonials

Prof. Bhattarai's book is an important contribution to the discussion of the nature of enterprise and its resiliency in changing environments. The book is integrative yet opens up new perspectives to enterprise activities and entrepreneuring. The book is written for researchers but also has insights for reflective practitioners. It is well timed as the demands for enterprises globally are multiplying from profit motives to the questions of purpose and sustainability.

– Prof. Liisa Välikangas, Aalto University & Hanken School of Economics

The book is recommended for students at the graduate level, and students who are embarking on PhD and researchers in the field of enterprise studies, organizational behavior or organizational management. For students at the graduate level and PhD candidates, the book would strengthen their knowledge on the issues that govern an enterprise. In addition, the philosophical explanations could be used as theoretical discussion materials in understanding for the existence and survival of an organization.

For the researchers, the book gives a foundation and fundamental discussion on enterprise, including the how and the why aspects. Additionally, the research agenda would help in designing related framework, model or policy that set for highly resilient enterprises.
