Mohammed Al-Suqri (Ed.)
Mohammed Nasser Al-Suqri is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Department of Information Studies, Collage of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University. He received his Ph.D. in Library and Information Management from Emporia State University, School of Library and Information Management, Emporia, USA; a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute, School of Information and Library Science, New York, USA; and a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Sultan Qaboos University, Department of Library and Information Science, Sultanate of Oman. Mohammed Nasser Al-Suqri conducts research in the area of user studies, knowledge management and sharing, digital libraries, and LIS education and collaboration in the Middle East.

Abdullah Al-Kindi (Ed.)
Abdullah K. Al-Kindi is Associate Professor in Journalism in the Department of Mass Communication, College of Arts & Social Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Journalism in December 2000 from Reading University, UK. In July 1995, he obtained his MA in Journalism from Cardiff, University of Wales. Before that, he obtained his BA in Media and Journalism from Sultan Qaboos University in 1992. His areas of research interests include media war coverage and media policies. He published several articles in refereed journals, two edited two books, and two translated from English into Arabic. Administratively, He severed as a Dean of College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University from January 2011 to June 2017. He served also as assistant Dean for undergraduate Student Academic Affairs, 2004-2008, in the same college.

Salim AlKindi (Ed.)
Salim Said Alkindi is an Assistant Professor at Department of Information Studies, College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University. He obtained his Ph.D. in in Internet Studies, School of Media, Culture and Creative Arts at Curtin University, Perth, Australia; a Master’s degree in Information Management and System at Monash University, Faculty of Information Technology, Melbourne, Australia; and a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Sultan Qaboos University, Department of Library and Information Science, Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Salim Alkindi research interests include Information Management & Systems, Knowledge Management, Social Sciences, Social Networks & Social Media, Information Architecture, Information Retrieval and Systems (search engines, Meta search engines, subject directory) Information literacy and Information Ethics. He has published in a number of journals including International Information & Library Review, Journal of Information & Knowledge Management and Global Journal of Human Social Science.

Naifa Saleem (Ed.)
Naifa Eid Saleem is an associate professor at the Department of Information Studies, College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University. She obtained her Ph.D. in information technology from Exeter University, UK in 2006; a Master’s degree in Information Management from University of Sheffield, UK; and a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Sultan Qaboos University, Department of Library and Information Science, Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Naifa research interests include Information Management, e-learning and research methodology. Administratively, she currently severs as assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Sultan Qaboos University. He served also as assistant Dean of College of Arts and Social Sciences for Training and Community Services, Sultan Qaboos University, 2013-2016.
