Abstract

This article looks at research in progress on the efforts to integrate an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called Microsoft Dynamics GP into the School of Business curriculum. What makes ERP systems different from traditional information systems is that all the various functions are integrated into a single system using a variety of modules. This integration of information provides a more holistic view of the organization and allows for the more comprehensive and timely view of the business processes thus leading to more informed and hopefully, improved, decision making.
