Abstract

Mobile computing capabilities has contributing to what Bergeron has referred to as the “pervasive computing” society. Small wireless devices from PDA’s to cell phones has fulfilled the promise of ATAP (any time, any place) computing. This change in computing habits dictates a necessary change in the Information Systems curricula of institutions of higher education. This is an account of how instruction in wireless smart device application development was introduced into an undergraduate computer information systems major curriculum.
