Abstract
Much has been written and said about the use of technology to engage students in the learning process. This research examines the student and teacher perceptions about the use of technology in ten secondary schools in a metropolitan area. The research also links these perceptions to the online presence of each school and examines from 2004 to 2006 the development of learning material posted on the school web pages.
