Abstract

The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and its variants have proven to be a very useful tool in explaining user uptake intentions. With the drive to use new eLearning environments, cost-benefit analyses have been given little attention with the consequent ‘Has there been a commensurate improvement in learning?’ question largely unanswered. This paper proposes the need for an EduTAM variant of the TAM as a basis for attempting to answer the value for outlay question.
