Helen Crompton

Dr. Helen Crompton is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology at Old Dominion University Virginia. She is a highly experienced researcher, educator, author and presenter in the field of educational technology. She draws from 23 years in education, with 16 years as a full time K-10 classroom teacher, and she has a PhD in educational technology and mathematics education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Crompton also works as a consultant for two United Nations Agencies (United Nations, Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization: UNESCO and International Telecommunication Union: ITU) to research and author publications on mobile learning. Dr. Crompton presents national and internationally on the topic of educational technology and publishes articles, book chapters, and papers in this field.
