Julius T. Nganji

Julius T. Nganji received his master of science (with distinction) in Website Design and Development and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. His PhD focused on using web ontologies to personalise e-learning for students with disabilities, including those with multiple disabilities. His current research interests are in e-learning personalization for students with disabilities, digital accessibility and usability, human-computer interaction, user interface design and special educational technology. Over the past eight years, he has published in various conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters. He is an editorial review board member and an expert reviewer for various journals focusing on educational technology and human-computer interaction. He was a mentor for students with disabilities at the University of Hull for three years and currently mentors some PhD students in Africa. Since 2013, he has been working in various roles on a major web migration project and a Student Information System (SIS) replacement project at the University of Ottawa where he has contributed towards web accessibility, usability and client support.
