Margaret L. Signorella

Dr. Signorella's focus in teaching and research is on the development and consequences of gender and other social stereotypes, and in the use of computers and technology. In teaching she emphasizes involving undergraduates in research. She has been a member of the campus global curriculum project, Teaching International, since its inception in 2004. Currently she is president-elect of the Society for Psychology of Women of the American Psychological Association, following two terms as society treasurer. Previously, she served two terms as the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus academic officer. She is involved in several technology-related efforts, including the development of the new campus web page and the transition to a new learning management system at Penn State.
