Şefika Şule Erçetin

Şefika Şule Erçetin graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University in 1984. In 1987 she has started to work as research assistant at the Division of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning, and Economics in Hacettepe University and completed the doctorate there. In 1994 she was invited by The University of Texas at Austin, where she worked as visiting scholar for six months. Since 2003 she has been working as professor. In 2009-2012 she directed many international and national projects about “organizational intelligence, municipalities, vocational education,” as project coordinator. She is the president, board member and founder member of the International Science Association (ISCASS). Along with ISCASS, Prof. Dr. Şefika Şule Erçetin organized three international symposiums and now is calling for the new international symposium “4rd International Symposium on Chaos, Complexity and Leadership (ICCLS 2016). She is editor in chief of different national and international journals She has many published articles both national and international journals. She has written seven national books, twenty four international book chapters and edited seven international books, latter of them published by SPRINGER and IGI Global. She is one of rare academicians in Turkey who interests in “chaos, complexity, quantum leadership” since 1990. She has directed many theses and she gives seminars about these topics. Other main research fields of her are comparative education policies, research methods organizational intelligence and stupidity and wisdom, leadership, migration, fuzzy logic, children at risk, women and peace studies, social media.
