Description
With the recent increase of student diversity in the educational system, there is a need for cultural responsiveness. Cultural responsiveness, or culturally responsive practices, help to break down barriers that may cause or contribute to academic, behavioral, social emotional, and/or mental health difficulties demonstrated by students. Implementing culturally responsive practices increases equitable education opportunities for all students.

Featuring a wide range of topics including social justice, equality, and special education, this book is ideal for professionals, educators, administrators, curriculum designers, academicians, researchers, and students.
