Author's/Editor's Biography

Kadir Beycioglu (Ed.)
Kadir Beycioglu, PhD, is an associate professor of Educational Administration at Dokuz Eylul University Buca Faculty of Education in the Department of Educational Sciences, Izmir, Turkey. His study topics are mainly on educational change, school development, and educational leadership. He is also interested in the ethical use of ICT in education. He is a member of the International Study of Principal Preparation (ISPP) project and International School Leadership Development Network – Social Justice Leadership Strand by BELMAS and UCEA. He has published several articles in leading international journals including Teaching and Teacher Education, Computers and Education, Educational Assessment, Evaluation and Accountability, Journal of Management Development, Journal of School Public Relations, and KEDI Journal of Educational Policy. He has also acted as guest editor for some international journals and books and has published chapters in books. Dr. Beycioglu is the founding editor of the International Journal of Cyber Ethics in Education (IGI) and has been serving as a member of the editorial board or as reviewer for some leading journals such as Journal of Mixed Methods Research (SAGE), Learning and Individual Differences (ELSEVIER), Journal of Research on Technology in Education (ISTE), International Journal of Leadership in Education: Theory & Practice- (Taylor & Francis), Computers & Education - (ELSEVIER), International Journal of Educational Development (ELSEVIER), International Journal of Teacher Leadership and the Qualitative Report. He has been a member of the European Educational Research Association, British Educational Leadership, Management & Administration Society, and the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management.

Petros Pashiardis (Ed.)
Petros Pashiardis is a Professor of Educational Leadership and the Academic Coordinator of the “Educational Studies” Program with the Open University of Cyprus. Petros studied Educational Administration at the University of Texas at Austin as a Fulbright Scholar. He has also worked or lectured in many countries including Great Britain, India, New Zealand, Greece, Germany, South Africa, Switzerland, Australia, Sweden, and the United States. In 2008, he co-edited the International Handbook on the Preparation and Development of School Leaders, together with Jacky Lumby and Gary Crow. From 2004 to 2008, Professor Pashiardis was President of the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management. He is now on the Board of Governors of the Commonwealth Foundation. During his travels, he has collaborated extensively with CSOs from all these countries in the areas of School Leadership and Educational Policy, training school leaders and creating school leadership organizations in various countries around the Commonwealth in an effort to contribute towards the attainment of MDGs as they relate to improving equality of opportunity for Education for All. His latest book in English was published by Springer Publications in 2014, under the title Modeling School Leadership Across Europe: In Search of New Frontiers.
