Caitlin Lopez
Caitlin Lopez
is a recent graduate from City University of New York - Lehman College where she received an M.S.Ed in Childhood Special Education. She completed her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. While in her last year of the graduate program, Ms. Lopez completed a teaching residency through LUTE-STEM, a program that offers a full-year experience in a classroom and the opportunity to receive a micro-credential in computer science education. Through this experience, she became aware of inequitable access to science education, especially for students with disabilities.
