Cynthia M. Sims
Cynthia M. Sims is an Assistant Professor for the Master’s program in Human Resource Development at Clemson University, College of Education, in Clemson, South Carolina. Her research focuses on leadership, women and leadership, entrepreneurs and technology leaders, and human resource development theory and practice. She has presented at the International Leadership Association and the Academy of Human Resource Development. For more information on her research, please access: https://cynthiamsims.wordpress.com. Dr. Sims completed her doctorate in organizational leadership at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a M. Ed. from Harvard University’s School of Education and a B.S. from Lake Forest College. Prior to her academic career, she was employed with a U.S. fortune 100 company. There, she served in a number of capacities including Director of Staff Operations, Director of Learning and Performance Improvement, and Director of Human Resources. Earlier in her career Dr. Sims was an executive with an international consulting firm.
