Erin Yoshida-Ehrmann

Erin Yoshida-Ehrmann is currently serving as a District Coordinator for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Gifted/Talented Programs. In this role, Ms. Yoshida-Ehrmann develops policies and provides professional development and support to administrators, coordinators, teachers and families to ensure that gifted/talented students have equitable access to program options and requisite services. Ms. Yoshida-Ehrmann has worked with LAUSD since 2000, serving as both elementary school teacher and district administrator. Ms. Yoshida-Ehrmann coordinates the districtwide Schools for Advanced Studies (SAS) designation to meet the needs of gifted/high ability learners in K-12 residential schools. Ms. Yoshida-Ehrmann is passionate about addressing the needs of historically underrepresented gifted populations, including able-underachieving learners and students from diverse backgrounds. Ms. Yoshida-Ehrmann received her Bachelor of Arts from Lewis and Clark College and Master of Science in Administration from Pepperdine University, Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
