Sarah Namuwaya
Sarah Namuwaya
is highly accomplished procurement and logistics professional with a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) females’ campus and an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Kyambogo University. She has a passion for logistics operations and supply chain management with extensive experience in both the private and public sector. She is a certified Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) member and regularly attends industry events and is actively involved in professional organizations, demonstrating her dedication to stay up-to-date in the field. She has previously worked as senior procurement officer at Wakiso District Local government and currently works as a senior officer Performance Monitoring – Regional offices at the Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA), a government agency under the ministry of finance planning and economic development of Uganda. Sarah is known for her strong leadership skills, outstanding negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in managing complex procurement operations and supply chains as well as being passionate about the integration of digital technologies in procurement and supply chain operations.
