Wee Hoe Tan

Wee Hoe Tan, formally a 3D animator, joined academia in mid-2004 to teach and develop multimedia courses in Kuala Lumpur University. After teaching in Malaysian Institute of IT in the university, he pursed a PhD at University of Warwick for three years. Towards the end of his doctoral study, he began to work as a consultant in the game industry. He involved in the game coaching system design of the FPS Trainer project in Dundee, UK and the game-based learning system design of the KNeoWORLD Project in San Francisco, US. He is an accreditation panel of Malaysia Qualification Agency, a certified TRIZ practitioner / instructor, and an advisory panel of Malaysia Game Development Cluster. In 2017, Wee Hoe won the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship award and became a Humphrey Fellow at the College of Education, Pennsylvania State University.
