Zahraa Saleh

Zahraa Saleh is a Ph.D. candidate at the Lebanese University, specializing in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanotechnology. Leveraging her diverse academic background in Physics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, Ms. Saleh has made significant research contributions. Notably, she spearheaded the development of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and comprehensive protocols for large-scale production of COVID-19 convalescent plasma. As a core member of the NanosTech team since January 2021, Ms. Saleh has pioneered nanotechnology solutions for advanced textile treatments, functionalization, antiviral and antimicrobial nanosuspensions. Her interdisciplinary approach, drawing from her physics background, has been invaluable in connecting nanotechnology, pharmaceutics, and biotechnology. At the RDMPN Laboratory, Ms. Saleh optimized the synthesis of Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles (SPIONs) through innovative Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology. Her diverse expertise and collaborative mindset continue to advance pharmaceutical sciences and nanotechnology.
