Dušan Jovanovič
Dušan Jovanovič,
Doctor of Law sciences, is an Associate Professor in the field of Business Law at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business. He trained mainly at the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor, the College of Law of the University of Cincinnati, Kingston University London and the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb. He is a member of the Maribor Lawyer Association and a member of the International Bar Association. With his professional and scientific discussions and articles, he mainly deals with the field of corporate law and corporate governance. He is the author and co-author of several publications in Slovenia and abroad. He also participates in various research projects in the field of corporate law and as a lecturer at various professional seminars and consultations. He is the head of the Department of Business law at the faculty. He is also the director of the Institute for Economic and Corporate Governance (IECG Maribor), where he is actively involved and connected with practice. He is the president of the assembly of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and, as an independent and corporate expert, he is a member of the supervisory boards of companies, and he also participates in the work of various state and non-state bodies and institutions in his field.
