Fathin Awang Mat Japar is a graduate researcher at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Fathin holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and leverages her academic foundation to delve into the complexities of Waste Management. With a year of hands-on experience gained at a local recycling centre as a Project Officer, Fathin's research pursuits are driven by her desire to humbly contribute to the intricate Islamic system of Governance, focusing on sustainability elements and values derived from the Qur'ān and Sunnah pertaining to waste management. She is the appointed Youth Ambassador of Climate Change to TotalEnergies Brunei and a certified Climate Fresk facilitator.
