Fiseha Mekonnen Guangul
, an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Middle East College in Oman, obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. His academic journey includes earning BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Furthermore, he holds a Higher Diploma in Professional Teacher Education from Adama Science and Technology University. Recognized as a Chartered Engineer (CEng, MIMechE) by IMechE, he is an active member of ASME, IAENGR, and the Oman Society of Engineers. Dr. Fiseha has over 25 years of expertise encompassing industry, research, teaching, and academic governance. His professional background includes managerial roles in both manufacturing and service sectors. Post-doctorally, he led the Hybrid Energy Systems Research Laboratory at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. His diverse research interests cover renewable energy, thermofluids, gasification, project management, total quality management, and teaching quality. With a prolific record, Dr. Fiseha has authored over 34 papers published in journals and conferences. Additionally, he has contributed four book chapters to Springer.
