Gražina Šmitienė
is a Doctor of Social Sciences (Education) and an Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Social and Humanities, Klaipeda University. Gražina is a science teacher who develops the methodology of students' critical thinking and inquiry-based learning in primary and elementary school and is particularly interested in the development of STEAM education in general education schools and prepares methodological recommendations for schools. Her research interests include critical thinking education, interdisciplinary content management, STEAM education, education for sustainability, and equal opportunities in education.
