Joetta Harlow Kelly

Joetta Harlow Kelly is an Assistant Professor of School Counseling with the School of Education at Campbellsville University in the school’s graduate program and is a licensed counselor. She served in ministry for many years, has taught both Art and PE, and managed MSU’s Wellness Center, teaching there as well. She also teaches classes in First Aid/CPR/AED and was a swim instructor for many years. Joetta has degrees from Campbellsville, Murray State University and Western Kentucky University, and has written and/or illustrated 13 children’s books. She lives in Murray, Kentucky and enjoys spending time and traveling with her friends and family which includes her 3 children, their spouses, her 5 grand girls and her little yorkie. Writing the chapter for this book was particularly meaningful as she lost her husband during Covid and seeks to minister to others going through loss, just as she was blessed to be ministered to.
