Julie Blackwell Young
Julie Blackwell-Young
has worked in UK higher education for over 20 years starting as a psychology lecturer before moving to more central roles in quality assurance, quality enhancement and staff development. She is currently Head of Teaching Quality and Learning Enhancement in the Abertay Learning Enhancement Academy, Abertay University (Dundee). Julie has cross-institutional strategic roles in teaching excellence, curriculum design and development and supporting pedagogic research. Her pedagogic and research interests cover partnership working (staff/student partnerships and academic/professional services partnerships), academic identity and online/distance learning.
