Karuppasamy Ramanathan
has four years of industrial experience with Cipla Ltd., Mumbai and twenty years of rich teaching experience with Thiagarajar College, Madurai and leading Business Schools in Coimbatore. He has received a Gold Medal for his academic excellence in his master degree from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College (Madurai Kamaraj University). He is an alumni member of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad. Dr.Samy has presented 163 research papers in various Inter-national & National Conferences, published 14 text books (including Intellectual Property Rights & Airport Management) and 65 research articles in various referred National and International Journals with impact factors. He has organized 12 Management Development Programmes (MDP’s), 26 Faculty Development Programmes (FDP’s), five Leadership Camps and six international level Conferences. He has also produced six Ph.D scholars and six M.Phil Scholars. He is serving as Editor in Two international Journals and also reviewer for 13 journals related to Finance and Marketing. He has organized four painting exhibitions with his paintings/art work. He is writing successfully in a wide range of literacy genres including poems, short stories & novels. He is an active Rotarian and also served as Secretary, Rotary Club of Coimbatore City for the year 2017-18. He has been rewarded with Best Secretary Award (Best Secretary among 37 Rotary clubs in Region Number 3201, Tamil Nadu & Kerala) for his wonderful 73 projects during 2017 in the area of Plantation of tress (1640 tress newly planted), No plastic campaign in semi urban areas of Coimbatore covering 46 kilo meters radius, organized four major Painting & Rangoli competitions on the theme of Save the Girl Child, donated Rs.143000 worth of books and children’s furniture to five rural schools in Western Coimbatore, supported six rural college students to do their higher education at free of cost, organized state level cricket tournament and Kabadi tournament (peace trophy for rural students) thrice with 32 teams from 16 districts of Tamil Nadu, organized four rallies to create awareness about HIV and tuberculosis, organized 12 Blood Donation Camps etc., He has been awarded with “Man of Social Work” by IDA Asia for the Year 2017. He also an Internationally Accredited Trainer and conduct various training programs for middle and top-level managers, students and Business people.
