Linda Diann Collins

Linda D. Collins has over 25 years experience as an e-learning educator in higher education addressing the needs of at-risk students at a distance, online student success, holistic approaches to online student support services, e-learning curriculum design and development, teaching and learning using technology, open entry self-paced instruction, and innovative and emerging instructional technologies. Dr. Collins is currently an instructor and dissertation chair in the Advanced Graduate Studies department at Northcentral University. Previously Dr. Collins served as the Department Chair for Business and Computer Information Systems and the Lead Faculty Technology Evangelist at Maricopa County Community Colleges. Dr. Collins has been the recipient of several grants from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to address the needs of at-risk students using online learning technologies and a grant from the Department of Labor to develop an e-learning program for Software Quality Assurance. Dr. Collins also produced Girls ‘N IT events to get young women interested in careers in technology. She has also served as the coordinator for the Disney College Internship program for Disneyland and Walt Disney World. She received her Doctor of Education degree at Northcentral University in Education Technology Management and her Master of Science degree in Educational Change and Technology Innovation from Walden University.
