Maria-Anca Maican
, PH.D., is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Letters, Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, where she teaches General English and English for Specific Purposes, particularly Business English. Mirroring her teaching activity, her scientific research mainly focuses on the teaching and learning of foreign languages at higher education level and on the cognitive, linguistic and emotional factors that influence this process. She has authored or co-authored 38 articles published in Romanian and international scientific journals.
