Nancy Scheidt

Nancy Scheidt is a Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Winchester. She obtained her BSc (Hons) in Criminology and Forensic Studies and MSc in Forensic Information Technology at the University of Portsmouth. At the same University, Nancy achieved her PhD in the research area of Internet of Things (IoT) Forensics. She has teaching experience in a variety of different areas, including but not limited to; Cybercrime and Cybersecurity, Hybrid Systems, Networks, Forensic Information Technology (computer and mobile forensics) as well as Crime, Media and Culture. Nancy’s research interest focuses on the challenges and developments of IoT Forensics and the necessary training coming along with such, being government authorities or the private industry. Additionally, her interest expands into understanding not only the methods but also the psychology side of things.
