Olalekan Rafiu Ayodele-Oja
Olalekan Rafiu Ayodele-Oja
holds a PhD degree in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore, which he completed on a full Research Scholarship from the university. Recently, he obtained a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Business School Online and Harvard Graduate School of Education. Olalekan has over twenty-two years of teaching experience at various levels, and he has taught at top multi-curricula schools in Singapore. His research interest is at the intersection of the curriculum, teaching and learning, and data systems. Currently, Olalekan is working on what he calls Subject Thinking—an original approach to teaching and learning that explores two complementary questions: (i) “What makes a subject what it is?" and (ii) "What is it like, learning it?" He is the Director of Studies [International Curriculum] at Desheng School (International), Shunde, Guangdong, China. When he is not ruminating on work-related matters, Olalekan spends quality time with his wife and daughters.
