Patrice W. Glenn Jones
Patrice W. Glenn Jones
, a 2023-2024 American Council on Education fellow, serves as the Executive Director of Online Education and Programs at Alabama State University and a visiting scholar at Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. She also facilitates and authors online courses in English, literature, assessment and evaluation, and leadership. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership from Florida A&M University, a specialist degree in information science and learning technology from University of Missouri-Columbia, and a master’s degree in English from University of North Florida. Beyond online education, some of her other research interests include factors that impact Black American student achievement, academic programming at historically Black colleges and universities, mentoring, and positive psychology.
