Pratham Prakash Parekh
Pratham Parekh
has completed PhD from the Centre for Studies in Society and Development, School of Social Sciences, Central University of Gujarat. He has to his credit 14 research papers published in various international and national journals & 7 book chapters from well-known publishers. He has authored 2 scholarly acclaimed books titled “Epistemes of Death” and “Infrastructure Growth & Human Development in Gujarat”. He has presented papers in 43 international, national and state level conferences. His breadth of experience includes working with various private, non-government and government organizations. He has 7 years of experience working at the policy & governance level as a consultant with the Government of Gujarat. He has prepared and contributed to 16 policy intervention documents. He is appraised by the State Government for his contribution in developing Outcome Budget, Gender Budget, Development Program, SDG monitoring system, and CM Dashboard. His interdisciplinary research interests range across sociological aspects related to public policy, governance, information technology, Data Analytics & visualization, Human Resources Management, Labor Laws, Social Policy, Gender & Women Studies, Mythology, Medical & Health Sociology and Development Studies.
