Rajan Kangotra
Rajan Kangotra
is a seasoned educator and HR consultant with a rich background in English language teaching and management education. With a career spanning over two decades, Mrs. Kangotra has demonstrated her expertise in various academic and administrative roles across esteemed institutions in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jalandhar. She holds a Master of Business Administration (HR) from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, a Master of Arts in English from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, along with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science (Medical) from the same university. Her educational journey has equipped her with a deep understanding of both the English language and human resource management. Since January 2012, Mrs. Kangotra has been associated with the Shaheed Udham Singh Group of Colleges, Tangori, where she serves as an Assistant Professor for B.Tech, teaching Communicative English, and acts as the Coordinator and Mentor of the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. She has also taught various courses like B.Com (Prof.), MBA, MCA, BBA, and BCA, and has delivered Personality Development lectures. Her previous experiences include roles as a Lecturer at Sahibjada Ajit Singh Institute of IT & Research, Mohali, an English PGT at Lawerance Public Sr. Sec School, Mohali, and an English TGT & Faculty Coordinator at Gian Jyoti Public School, Mohali. She has also taught at Delhi Convent School, East Delhi, and Rabindra Day Boarding School, Jalandhar. Mrs. Kangotra has been actively involved in co-curricular and cultural activities, setting up the "Globalize Club" at SASIIT&R, and organizing various events like blood donation camps and fashion parades. She has also been recognized for her expertise in calligraphy, receiving a best calligraphy certificate in 1991. In the realm of research, she has presented papers on social responsibilities of businesses and corporate social responsibility at national and international seminars. She has also participated in faculty development programs and workshops to enhance her teaching pedagogy. With a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a detail-oriented approach, Mrs. Kangotra continues to contribute significantly to the field of education and human resource management.
