Rathishchandra Ramachandra Gatti
Rathishchandra R. Gatti
is currently working as a professor and head of the Department of Mechanical and Robotics Engineering at SCEM, India. He has around 20+ years of R&D experience in industry and academia. Earlier, he worked at Curtin University as a patent analyst for 4 years, NPI program manager at General Electric, manufacturing engineer at SVE, automotive design engineer at Meritor Automotive, and GET at Rapsri Engineering. He obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from Curtin University, Australia; a postgraduate diploma in global strategic management from ICFAI; an MBA in IP operations from IGNOU; and a BE in mechanical engineering from NITK,Suratkal. He has 16 patents (4 granted), authored 40+ peer-reviewed publications, and edited 8 books. His areas of interest are robotics, cyber-physical systems, self-powered systems, and energy harvesting.
