Ravi Lakshmanan
Ravi Lakshmanan
holds a postgraduate degree in electrical engineering, a Master of Science in Quality Management, and a PhD in Management. With a professional career spanning over 46 years, including 33 years dedicated to the aviation industry, he possesses extensive expertise in airport planning, design, development, commissioning, as well as airport operations and management. Notably, he served as the CEO of GMR Airport Developers Limited in his most recent full-time role and currently serves as an advisor for GMR Airports Ltd following his retirement. Beyond his corporate roles, he contributes to academia as a visiting faculty member and guest lecturer at prominent business schools in India. Ravi Lakshmanan has authored research articles, two university course books, and has provided guidance to two research scholars. His latest publication, titled "Fundamentals of Airport Planning- Theory and Practice," focuses on airport planning and was published by Taylor and Francis (UK)..He is a member of University academic council and research advisory committee.
