Renel Jay Quirit
is an Information Technology Specialist Lead. Holding a Ph.D. in Technology Management from Cebu Technological University (CTU), he has complemented his academic journey with a Master of Information Technology from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Central Mindanao University (CMU). With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Quirit's expertise spans diverse ICT fields, including teaching, curriculum design, ICT management, research and development, and software engineering. His outstanding contributions as an Information Technology Officer at the Department of Education Region 10, coupled with accolades such as the Outstanding Employee and Outstanding Education Support Awardee, highlight his commitment to excellence in public service. Beyond academia, Dr. Quirit has excelled as a Full-stack developer, contributing to innovative solutions at ATL Global Imports Inc in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. His passion for research is evident through his notable achievements, such as winning the Best Educational Technology Innovation Program Award in 2022 and Best Thesis in MUST GSFI Research Forum in 2013. Dr. Renel Jay Quirit's holistic approach to technology and research, coupled with his leadership and innovative mindset, positions him as a prominent figure in the dynamic landscape of Information Technology and beyond.
