Selina W. M. Robinson

Selina Robinson is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the undergraduate Forensic programmes at the University of Winchester, where she has been teaching since 2022. With a strong background in law enforcement, Selina has extensive experience working with Hampshire Constabulary as a Counter-Terrorism Prevent Officer in Special Branch and as a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) within the Scientific Services Department. During her time as a CSI, Selina was involved in and led several high-profile cases in Hampshire. Selina's research focuses on the use of Mixed Realities (MR/VR/AR) in education and training. She has created a range of virtual simulations to enhance teaching and training methods and to gain insights into decision-making processes in response to emergencies such as terrorism. Selina is actively involved in researching the integration of technology into pedagogical practices, exploring innovative ways to improve learning outcomes and training effectiveness through the use of virtual reality and other immersive technologies.
