Sergio A. Olavarrieta Soto
Sergio Olavarrieta
is the Vice President of Economic and Financial Affairs, and Associate Professor of Marketing and Strategy of the University of Chile. His research and teaching interests include Strategic Management, Marketing, Branding and Strategy in Higher Education having published in prestigious journals such as: Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Marketing Review, and participates in several Editorial Boards including ACADEMIA, RAE, Estudios Gerenciales. Professor Olavarrieta has held several senior executive positions including: Former Dean of the Universidad Diego Portales Business School, former Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Economics, former ViceDean of Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Chile. He also has served in several academic associations: Past President of the Business Association of Latin American Studies (BALAS) and of the Chilean Association of Business Schools (ASFAE-Chile) and as President of the Academic Committee of the Latin American Council of Business Schools (CLADEA).
