Sibel Ergün Elverici
Sibel Ergün Elverici
is currently teaching at Yildiz Technical University, School of Foreign Languages. She is also the academic advisor at the Ministry of Education, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education Teachers’ Academies, Language Academy, conducting and organizing trainings for teachers teaching at different grades. She received her BA in ELT Department as the highest ranked student with a first class degree. She completed her M.A in ELT department and conducted her PhD on Educational Technology. After her Ph.D., she conducted another M.A on Special Education. She has taught various courses such as Teaching Mixed Ability Classes, Instructional Technology and Measurement and Evaluation at the ELT department. Her research interests focus on technology integration, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Web 2.0, social presence and teacher education.
