Vedavathi Katneni

Vedavathi Katneni is the Principal of the GITAM School of Science and a Professor at the Department of Computer Science at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam. She started a humble beginning as a Computer Programmer and entered into teaching which now spans to over three decades of experience. She has numerous journal publications and has presented at seminars and conferences worldwide. She handled various research projects and is also guiding research scholars. She is an exemplary example of how the roles of academic administrative work and classroom teaching should be balanced. She has membership in various professional bodies.
