Yalun Zhou , Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Communication and Media at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her research explores the intersection of Second Language Acquisition (SLA), technology-enhanced L2 pedagogy, and L2 user experiences. Her recent work has focused on developing XR instructional designs and conducting user studies through gamification and artificial intelligence within cognitive immersive learning environments.
