Gurpreet Dhillon (Ed.)
Dr Gurpreet Dhillon BSc (Hons), MBA, MSc (Econ), PhD (MIS) is a MIS professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics (University of London). His research interests lie at the interface of strategic management and IS/IT use. The application domain of his research has covered information security, computer crime and fraud. In recent years he has also been studying the causes of IT failures within organizations. His research has been widely published in numerous journals including Communications of the ACM, Computers & Security, European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of End User Computing, International Journal of Public Sector Management, Topics in Health Information Management, Health Management Research among others. He is the author of the book 'Managing information system security' (Macmillan, 1997). He also serves as Vice President Publications for the Information Resources Management Association.
