Abirami M. S.
Abirami M. S.
is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computational Intelligence, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. She received the Ph.D. degree in Kidney segmentation from abdominal CT images and finding its abnormalities from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. She received the M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. She received the undergraduate degree from Bharathidasan University, Tamilnadu, India. She has authored or co-authored over 30 research papers in reputed journals/conferences. She has published 6 patents and 1 patent granted. She has organized 5 national research training programmes in SRM IST and showing interest to be a part of various training programmes. Her research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Medical Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Internet of Things and Distributed Computing. She is a member of Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Society for Technical Education.
