Amrik Singh
is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Promotion of Ecology, Adventure, Health & Cultural Tourism with in the School of Tourism, Travel, & Hospitality Management at Central University Himachal Pradesh NAAC-accredited A+ in Dharamshala. With a Ph.D. in Tourism Management, a Master's degree in Tourism Administration, and a Master's in Economics, Dr. Singh's academic journey is complemented by a strong foundation in economics and geography from Himachal Pradesh University, Summerhill Shimla. His dynamic career has included roles with Travel Corporation (I) Pvt. Ltd, Cox & King (I) Pvt. Ltd, and the Dalmia Group's in-house travel vertical, Sun Shine Tourism Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Singh's dedication to the tourism industry extends to his free lance consultancy work, where he promotes off-site experiences in Himachal, both in the international and Indian markets. He has also shared his vocational expertise with students as part of the faculty at Centre of Excellence Government Degree College, Sanjauli, NAAC-accredited A+ Shimla. Beyond his professional roles, Dr. Singh actively contributes to the field through his association with the Global Agree Network (GAN), participating in various committees such as Research, Definition & Standards, Education, and Communications. His commitment to outreach and extension activities, as well as his involvement in the CUHP Outreach, Extentions & UGC Notification Committee at Central University Himachal Pradesh, reflects his dedication to advancing the realms of ecology, adventure, health, and cultural tourism.
