Ayhan Yılmaz
Ayhan Yılmaz
was graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Education. She received her Msc.Degree in science education from the Hacettepe University in 1990, Ankara, Turkey. Then she she received Ph.D degree at Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Inorganic Chemistry in 1992. She was appointed as Assistant Professor in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, Department of Chemistry Education in 1989. She received her Associate Professor title in 2000. She has been working at the same department as a Professor since 2006. In addition, she has served as Vice Dean of Faculty of Education between 2006 and 2012 and as a Dean between 2016 and 2021. Her main research interests are students’ conceptions of science, misconceptions in chemistry and science education, environmental education, active learning methods.
