Brenda Gross

Brenda Gross , after earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems, entered an internship program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a Computer Specialist. At the same time, she worked on completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2017, she completed her Master of Science degree in Health Informatics, and in January 2022, she began the Doctor of Professional Studies – Instructional Design Leadership program at Franklin University. Before completing her BS degree, she transitioned from a civilian employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base to a government contractor supporting the Air Force. During her 22 years supporting the Air Force, she has worked on several projects supporting the Air Force in various roles, including software analyst, software developer, database developer, programmer, and technical lead. Additionally, after earning her BS degree, she worked as an adjunct at Clark State Community College for about two years. Her passion is lifelong learning, as there is something to learn every day. She genuinely enjoys reading, research, and collaborative learning experiences in academics. After completing her Doctor of Professional Studies program, her long-term goal is to teach online courses at a university. Her BS and MS degrees were online programs, as is her Doctor of Professional Studies program; therefore, she understands the potential challenges that online learning may present.
