Chris Harwood
Chris Harwood
is an associate professor in rhetoric and composition in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Sophia University in Japan. He has over 20 years of experience in language and academic literacies education, and is highly experienced in curriculum design, development, and administration. Chris has taught in a variety of contexts in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. His research interests include sociocultural theory, academic discourse socialization, online learning, computer-mediated communication, L2 writing, and language policy and planning.
