David R. Meek
David Meek
is a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Masters of Science in Secondary Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf. He received his Ed. D. in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education from Lamar University, his M.A. in Special Education: Mild Intervention, and his B.S. in Deaf Education from Ball State University. He has experience as an educator in Higher Education, Deaf Education, and Special Education (working with students with various degrees of disabilities). His current focus is on deaf learners with multiple disabilities. David's doctoral research focused on the experiences of dinner table conversations among Deaf individuals .
