Delma C. Da Silva

Delma Da Silva is a Senior Programme Manager with a proven track record of working in the development industry with national and international non-governmental organizations in the design and implementation of programmes and projects to promote good governance and transparency in Mozambique. Interested and active in the field of evidence-based advocacy throughout her more than 10 years of professional career, Delma has been involved in various programs, forums and platforms on issues related to Good Governance, Civic Engagement, Human Rights, Elections and Political Participation of Women and Youth, Gender, at national and international level having gained extensive experience working with various development partners, including public institutions at national and local level in Mozambique. In recent years she has been involved in consultancy in the area of development, having participated in research and studies on Governance and elections, Social Accountability, Human Rights, Gender, as well as Program Evaluations and Capacity Building oriented towards civil society actors and government institutions. Delma has a degree in Public Administration from Eduardo Mondlane University, a Master's degree in Strategic Management from the School of Higher Studies and Business and holds a Master's degree in Management, specializing in Governance and Public Policy from the Wits School of Governance in Johannesburg. Her dissertation was on electoral integrity in the context of Mozambique.
