Faheem Hyder Pottoo
Faheem Hyder Pottoo
is currently employed as Assistant Professor (Pharmacology) at the College of Clinical Pharmacy, IAU, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He is involved in the design and delivery of many pharmaceutical science courses to Pharm D and MBBS students; with a focus on neuro-pharmacology, therapeutics, public health and research skills. His research interests encompass repurposing generic drugs for new indications and also finding novel synergistic drug combinations in the treatment of neurological disorders and cancers of nervous system, as well as to study various signaling pathways like PI3K/protein kinase B (PKB/AKT) pathway, RAS/mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK)/extracellular signal–regulated kinase (ERK) pathway, etc.
